I was super excited that Superdrug have released a new range which is completely vegan and cruelty free! Their own brand products are cruelty-free anyway but you need to check if each individual item is vegan, so I’m happy that this range spares me from reading through all the ingredients, definitely a time-saver!
What makes this extra sweet is that everything is very reasonably price, and there’s even a 3 for 2 promotion on make-up in Superdrug at the moment, so the perfect time to indulge in some ‘B’ goodness! I opted for some high-quality make-up brushes, the ‘Finishing Brush‘ and ‘Blusher/Contour Brush‘, which are both made with 100% synthetic hair.
For make-up, I went for the ‘B Sculpted Contour Kit – Light‘ ‘B. All Lengthening, Defining and Volumising Mascara‘ and a ‘Rich Intense Colour Lipstick – Carmen 038‘. I was particularly happy that each individual item is clearly labelled that it is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and has the trusty leaping bunny symbol – showing it has not been tested on animals either.
I’ll do an update on how I get on with these products, but so far I am incredibly happy with this new brand. I’m a huge fan of Superdrug anyway with their no animal-testing policy, and the ‘B’ range has made cosmetics shopping even easier for vegans. I hope that ‘B’ does really well and they will expand to include more products, and include a wider selection in more stores. ‘B’-ravo Superdrug!
N.B. Please note that Superdrug products are currently only for sale in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. I have asked Superdrug for information about any future plans for international delivery, and will keep you updated on this.
Perhaps, since the internet is worldwide, you might mention that – I guess you, and for sure, Superdrug, are located in the United Kingdom: and that Superdrug will not register or sell to anyone that isn’t. I spent quite some time shopping on their site at your recommendation & was then completely unable to complete my order, since I live in the USA. You should probably mention that when you promote them. I was quite disappointed to not get to order the lipstick you raved about but more unhappy to not find it out until I was trying to check out. Thanks for saving others the frustration. Also, you could tell Superdrug to fix this so they can service more vegans & make more money. Perhaps they would give you free stuff for bringing them more business. π

Hi Jamini! Thanks for taking the time to give me your feedback. I apologise if it wasn’t clear that Superdrug are based where I live, in the UK. I talk about living in London quite a lot so this is probably more obvious to my regular readers, but I’ll make sure I make it clear in every post about vegan products from now on, thanks!
I’ll be reviewing some E.L.F products in the next couple of weeks which I know are widely sold throughout the US, perhaps this will be of some interest to you.
Best wishes,
Jenny
